LaunchControl X is a Control Surface Script for Ableton Live offering 16 Parameter Control & Session Ring Focus Box amongst other features.
Our Products are generally provided as Zip file downloads which in all cases will need to be extracted and saved to your hard drive prior to installation. Details on the different file type provided and what to do with them are below.

A Remote Script Installer is provided with this product, please use the P2 zip file for Live 11 and 12 and choose the User Library as the location to install the files.

It was only a matter of time before we turned our attention to the pocket perfection of a controller! The Novation LaunchControl is effectively the smaller sibling of the LaunchControl XL that we first added the Sigabort magic to some years ago. The result is our upgraded LaunchControl X Control Surface Script..
ONÂ SCREEN RING FOCUS BOX – SESSION CONTROL –Â The ability to have the LaunchControl as a supplementary controller for an Ableton Push or Novation LaunchPad was too much to ignore. Additionally LaunchSync will allow you to sync the new on screen Ring Focus Box of the LaunchControl X script with a wide range of supported controllers – MORE DETAILS
16 ENCODERS – 16 PARAMETER CONTROL –Â LaunchControl X has an upgraded USER SIX mapping which now gives you comprehensive control over Devices, VST’s and MaxforLive devices in banks of 16 parameters at a time. We’ve also added the ability to use PrEditor to create unique mappings to suit your own preferences.
ADDITIONAL CONFIGURATION OPTIONS –Â Within the Launch_Control_X remote script folder is a config.txt file, you can edit this with the details below to give different behaviours to your controller. Remember that changes will not take place until you have saved the file and restarted Live.
Returns MODE –Â The return tracks are right justified meaning that they will always appear on the right hand side of the controller. Two modes are provided which allow you to alter the behaviour of the display of the return tracks. This can be controlled by the Returns_mode setting in config.txt.
MAX NUMBER OF RETURNS –Â The Max_returns config setting can be used to limit the number of return tracks that can be controlled
Track BANK –Â You can configure how many tracks are moved left and right with the BANK LEFT / RIGHT buttons by changing the Track_bank value in config.txt.
SHOW MASTER –Â With this set to 1 the 8th track on the controller will always be dedicated to control the Master Track in Live regardless of the location of the Ring Focus Box
AUTO SCAN MULTI – The fully PrEditor compatible script has this option will define how Multi-Map VST’s behave when selected for editing are automatically scanned for parameter layout or whether the user does it via the PrEditor UI.
