P2D Session2 +
Session View for the Push 2 Screen
UPDATED FOR LIVE 11!
When you want to know what you’re triggering without looking at the Laptop screen P2D-Session displays your current Live session state on the Push2 display.
P2D-Session is a Max for Live device that utilises the hi-res RGB display on Push 2 to provide you with an overview of where you are in the Live set.
An 8×8 matrix on the display will correspond to the clip launch buttons on the Push allowing you to see the name and playing status of each clip that you currently control. This matrix will update as you move around the set or perform additions/removals from your set.

Smart XL
Rated 5.00 out of 5Advanced Live Parameter Control

Follow SCENE & CLIP XL
Rated 4.79 out of 5Automatic Follow actions for Clips & Scenes
Follow Actions come alive when they’re set automatically, especially when they can be used to trigger scenes and repeat phrases at will via MIDI!
If you work with a band or in a Worship context then Ableton Live can be awesome to play your backing tracks, with the MaxforLive device, Follow Scene you can trigger the next scene automatically and decide on the fly whether to repeat it again.
For the DJ & Live performer, mega sets can be created in half the time, split your clips and drop a Follow Clip device on the track and hey presto Follow actions happen automatically at the end of the clip, you won’t even believe what you could achieve with Dummy Clips and Audio Effects!

LaunchSync XL
Rated 4.67 out of 5Sync Together Ableton Control Surfaces
PLEASE NOTE: This LaunchSync XL is not compatible with Scene Follow Actions in Live 11, this is due to the exclude feature which launches individual clips on a scene and doesn’t trigger the scene itself. A version without the Exclude feature for Live 11 is in development.
The LaunchSync Series began life over the coffee table in the office of Novation, the team there had an idea of syncing together their LaunchPad family with the forthcoming LaunchControl XL. As we developed the idea it became apparent that everyone has a different view of what made the perfect performance set up, whether it be an Ableton Push based one or revolve around an APC40MKII the same things became clear!
