  1. Use either Components standalone or Components browser version.
  2. Unzip the folder file and look for the COMPONENTS folder.
  3. Inside that folder you will find the FULL PACK file which contains SESSIONS+SAMPLES+PATCHES. Remember that this will overwrite any existing sessions, samples and patches you have on the Circuit so be sure to back up.
  4. Go to Components and click OPEN PACK and locate the FULL PACK file.
  5. If you just want the patches OR the samples OR the sessions look up the components file named sessions, samples or patches.
  6. Use Components to load the data you want. You do this under CHANGE CONTENT for sessions/patches/samples respectively and choose UPLOAD function.
  7. If you are unsure how you can use this Bobeats Tutorial. Note that it is for an older version of Components but most things are correct still: CLICK HERE

This pack is LOADED with everything you could ever need for that 80’s and Synthwave vibe. Two full banks of classic patches that sound huge. Then it goes above and beyond by including a themed drum sample set, full sessions and drum tracks to jumpstart creativity. The macro controls make sense throughout each patch so you’re not playing blind. It’s immediately fun. Immerse yourself in retro bliss!

well what can i say this is the pack i have been waiting for being a true 80,s synth kid (yes i,m old l). great bass sounds with
loads of movement to the sounds via the very sensible use of the circuits macro knobs. The drum samples are great and the sessions are full of great ideas .Even the planet rock 808 style drum pattern. i wish you would make a depeche mode pack
as i am sure it would be brilliant judging by the quality of these patches.

Incredible pack for the Novation Circuit. Born in 1980, i remember lots of 80 tunes still. As a big fan of 80’s music and Italo Dance Classics etc, this sound pack really honors the 80’s sound! Once installed i immediately started making some music. I know a lot of hours will be spend in the studio again. Ideas are flowing, and motivation is growing. Thank you for your hard work on this! Hope to finish some tunes soon.

As a great enthusianist of 80’s music and synth sounds, I downloaded the previous 80’s pack and while it was already great, I found Delorean Dream pack excellent.
It sounds really nice and demo sequences are inspiring. This pack is highly recommended! Good job Yves BigCity!

This is one of the best packs you able to find until today. Specialy the functions of the macros
Requesting for next pack, please make a full sized 16 session pack. And a sessions with a begin buildup, middle session and ending melody, that make it great

  6. Mathias Henze (verified owner)

It’s easily the best pack around! Don’t hesitate!

This is a great pack with the best synth patches I’ve encountered. My last two live jams use it and I plan on leaving it on the circuit for the duration. Thanks.

Great sample pack and best so far for the Circuit.

The sounds are great and the macro layout is simple and consistent which is so important on a device where the macro knobs aren’t labelled..

Can’t see me removing this from the Circuit for a long time.

Just bought this and I am blown away, this takes me back to when I was a kid. Love it hands down, great job.

Our Products are generally provided as Zip file downloads which in all cases will need to be extracted and saved to your hard drive prior to installation. Details on the different file type provided and what to do with them are below.

.alp Files – These are Ableton Live Packs and will install directly into the Packs Section of the browser of Ableton Live. When you double click on them you will see a pop up window asking you to confirm that installation is ok as the files are described as “Legacy”. This is fine and you are ok to proceed, the packs are created using the format for an earlier version of Live and so remain compatible with the current version.

.amxd files – These are individual MaxforLive Devices and can be stored anywhere on your hard drive. We’d advise creating a folder for them and then adding that folder as a location within the Places section of Lives Browser.

Control Surface Scripts – Please refer to the individual User Guides provided with your download

Novation Circuit Packs – These are provided as individual Sysex Files and as a complete bank file. All are to be installed using a version of the Circuit Editor and not via Novations Components back up utility.
