Very similar to izotope’s tonal balance, but a lot cheaper and streamlined. Great value for the price.

Multi Analyser XL makes use of a new feature of Live 10 whereby Max for Live devices now support multiple audio inputs and outputs. Inputs and outputs can be accessed via the track’s input and output channel choosers. Devices can also be routed to arbitrary tracks via the Live API.
This means that as well as hard routing a tracks output to a Max for Live device or routing content of a Max for Live device out to dedicated track input, we can also grab the output of a track and send it into in Max for Live Device without disrupting its current signal flow (i.e. to Master). This is great for analysis and measurement tools but also it allows Max for Live devices to have side-chaining functionality, which was previously not possible.
Why the Multi Analyser XL?
After the success of the MultiAnalyser device, Ableton Certified Trainer Mark Towers has taken on board the feedback for the free device and upgraded it to XL. The main visible difference is a large floating window, which stays visible while selecting different tracks.
Additional Channel routing options per track:
– Select from Pre FX, Post FX or Post Mixer to analyse tracks
– Select Left, Right or Summed output of tracks to analyse
Our Products are generally provided as Zip file downloads which in all cases will need to be extracted and saved to your hard drive prior to installation. Details on the different file type provided and what to do with them are below.
.alp Files – These are Ableton Live Packs and will install directly into the Packs Section of the browser of Ableton Live. When you double click on them you will see a pop up window asking you to confirm that installation is ok as the files are described as “Legacy”. This is fine and you are ok to proceed, the packs are created using the format for an earlier version of Live and so remain compatible with the current version.
.amxd files – These are individual MaxforLive Devices and can be stored anywhere on your hard drive. We’d advise creating a folder for them and then adding that folder as a location within the Places section of Lives Browser.
Control Surface Scripts – Please refer to the individual User Guides provided with your download, an abridged version of the installation will be shown further down this page.
ClyphX Pro – Please refer directly to the manual and installation video for this specific product.
Novation Circuit Packs – These are provided as individual Sysex Files and as a complete bank file. All are to be installed using a version of the Circuit Editor and not via Novations Components back up utility.
For support as an existing customer please use the Support Request section within your account page, this will enable us to validate your purchase automatically and assign the request to the relevant developer to respond when they're available.

Really great, as well to always be able to keep an eye on the master spectrum.
For 5 Stars: set the track colour to the tracks in the Multi Analyser XL, then it will be perfect!

Dead simple to use and no need to throw it on different tracks like other multi-analyser tools.
Total bargain for the price and excellent support if you ever need it.
Tobias Aschermann –
Use it daily since I bought it.

Multi Analyser is awesome! I love the floating window to have visibility while switching tracks. Isotonik has done again yet once again!

An instant hit – this is a very useful device. I didn’t realise that I needed it until I started using it. It really highlights problem areas for mixing in an immediate way. I tend yo have this open when starting a track and choosing sounds. The colouring of the tracks is a really useful guide to what is going on. I am amazed that something so seemingly simple is so useful. Thanks for this, and yes the large floating window update is a bonus….. 🙂
