NanoKontrol Studio XL – Assignable Mode

If you’re experiencing issues after uploading the NKS template via Korgs Kontrol Editor you may find that you’ve inadvertently switched mode from the factory settings for the controller itself.

First check that you can select the NKS XL script for the input and Output for your NanoKontrol Studio in the Control Surfaces slots within the MIDI Preferences of Live, this proves the script installation has worked.

To address this simply turn on the NanoKontrol Studio while pressing the Scene and Cycle buttons, that makes it start in Assignable Mode and after you should find that everything works.

Any further issues after this please open a support ticket and attach the Script Report zip file that is produced by the Remote Script Installer.
