      finally a delay that warbles up and down with modulated delay times; proper dub, like an early digital delay! but Dedalus also does lovely stutters and mangling, and the MIDI controlled pitching is killer!

      Incredible delay! Only had it a couple of days but been throwing it on everything. Can do the classic delay perfectly but comes into its own when you want to push the boundaries and create something genuinely unique. Simply amazing

    Dedalus Delay VST by Aqusmatiq Audio

    Dedalus Delay is a real-time audio “delay mangler.” A network of delay lines is granulated and modulated, producing a labyrinth of echoes, which are further processed by filters, dynamic processors, and saturation modules. Dedalus can create a wide variety of effects, from reverb-like ambiences to evolving resonations, from rhythmic pulsation to chaotic layering, from subtle chorusing to pure noise.

    DEDALUS DELAY V1.1 WHAT’S NEW? 

    • With the new Parameter Lock feature, you can lock in your favorite delay settings and prevent unwanted changes while browsing the presets.
    • The new Delay Free variation delay mode allows more experimentation and sonic exploration.
    • The MIDI Input Transpose parameter enables you to transpose incoming MIDI notes.
    • The Duck/Gate module now includes a linear/exponential switch, offering greater precision in shaping your sound.
    • We’ve also added a helpful Help Menu, providing easy access to all the information you need to get the most out of Dedalus Delay. And with the new color palettes, you can now choose from various color options to personalize your user interface.

     DEDALUS DELAY FEATURES:

    • The delay can be set in rhythmic values, in seconds and also ad MIDI note pitches (resonances)
    • The delay time can be continuously varied and granulated.
    • The feedback can be set up to 200% to create infinite ever-changing resonances. A limiter within the feedback circuit prevents the uncontrolled increase in sound volume.
    • Two cascaded fourth-order filters (low-pass and high-pass) allow shaping of the sound spectrum within the feedback loop.
    • The overdrive module creates a warm distortion that gives depth to the sound.
    • The duck/gate dynamics processor allows the sound produced by the delay to “breathe” along with the rhythmic accents of the incoming sound.
    • The plugin has 8 modulators that can be used to vary all parameters. One modulator can modulate another modulator and even modulate itself! You can draw the waveform of the modulator, use a step sequencer or a random waveform generator.
