All of the sound sources for each one of these racks are made with Ableton’s Drift synth engine (the only synth available for Ableton Intro). While each rack has it’s own distinct characteristics, they also work together to give you everything you would need to make tracks in sorts of electronic genres.
They also can be a quick way to add glitchy flair to your own tracks. The racks are also intended to be learning tools for both beginners and veterans of Ableton Live 12. Diving into the layers Macros, routing, and control mapping is a great way to find new things to try. Perhaps even make your own adjustments to make the racks truly your own!
Kit 1 focuses on the bread and butter materials such as kicks, snares, hats, bass and ratcheting glitch elements. Kit 2 is where you’ll find loads of different experimental synth sounds that, at times, almost have a slight hint of Buchla. Kit 3 is selection of tonal instruments that will generate music simply by adding MIDI notes. The rack is tied to Ableton Live 12’s scale awareness functionality. All 3 Kits and routed to allow for MIDI triggered beat repeat.
Kits 2 and 3 both have a few MIDI triggered effects, while Kit 3 has a selection of MIDI triggered gating, “side chaining” and LFO’s.

Sounds great. Easy to use and the results are suitably glitchy and wacky. Love it
