We’re introducing Beat Shake Micro House, the first volume of a collection of drum recordings tailored to produce exciting Micro House and “Rominimal” grooves.
With this new pack, you have instant access to endless combinations of beats at the click of a button through 3 exclusive Drum Racks carefully crafted to work in conjunction with the “Beat Shaker”. The rhythms are easily customisable with dynamic tilt and velocity parameters, giving you fast access to fine-tune the dynamic range of your beats.
We’ve also dropped an impressive collection of 60 (sixty!) different MIDI patterns into the mix so all you have to do is load up the Beat Shaker, select between one of the 3 Micro House flavoured Drum Racks (or from any of the previous Beat Shakes), drag one of the MIDI patterns into your session and hit “SHAKE” to start generating your own grooves. Shake the whole rack or tweak sections individually to bring an original twist to your productions.
It’s that simple and way more fun than drum loops.
This Pack contains:
Sound design and drum patterns by Staniz, concept and plug-in by Alexkid.
Our Products are generally provided as Zip file downloads which in all cases will need to be extracted and saved to your hard drive prior to installation. Details on the different file type provided and what to do with them are below.
.alp Files – These are Ableton Live Packs and will install directly into the Packs Section of the browser of Ableton Live. When you double click on them you will see a pop up window asking you to confirm that installation is ok as the files are described as “Legacy”. This is fine and you are ok to proceed, the packs are created using the format for an earlier version of Live and so remain compatible with the current version.
.amxd files – These are individual MaxforLive Devices and can be stored anywhere on your hard drive. We’d advise creating a folder for them and then adding that folder as a location within the Places section of Lives Browser.
Initial Release – March 2024
Multi-instrumentalist and sound engineer, Alexkid is credited as an early protagonist of 90s Parisian underground culture.
His work in the early days of MaxforLive led to the highly acclaimed release of Instant Haus on Abletons own webstore which has acted as the inspiration to others ever since.
