Wow! This amazing pack is loaded with new samples and sounds. I’ve never seen anything like it offered before for the Digitakt. It’s definitely a *must have* collection and once you load it up you’ll see why. Great work!
MG Boerma –
Yeah, it definitely a great pack. well done.

Great samples, a very useful pack. The only thing I don’t like is that the sounds have seemingly random generated names. If I find one I like it is difficult to navigate back next time, since it’s not possible for me to remember these names (it’s worse than IKEA furniture names).
Frank Walter –
The samples are ok but the naming is absolutely TERRIBLE… Numbers like hh23, k250 or sd156 would have been so much easier to remember when we need to find a sample…

We’ve got an update coming to address this.
gzavodszky –
Thanks for improving the naming! With the latest update this is one of the best packs out there!

This is a very good sample / sound pack for digitone. However there is one big grief about sound tuning. There is a lot of sounds which are not correctly mapped to the keyboard. E.g. one sample is named Something Fm yet it is saved to the sound -3 semitones down although it needs to be dialed down 5 semitones. Sometimes they are correct sometimes you can just count from sample name to map it to C and usually you are in doubt if even key implied in the sample name is correct. This disturbs workflow quite a bit if you try to make up spmething in improvizational manner. There has already been quite a lot of work compiling this pack. It would have been small task to adjust sounds to correlate with keyboard.

Hi Jonas, thank you for your feedback, it’s very much appreciated.
I’m glad that you think the samples and sounds provided are very good! 🙂
First off, just to clarify to anyone reading this the pack is for the Digitakt, not the Digitone though I’m sure that’s what you meant.
I’m sorry that for your particular user case and workflow the disparity between the Sounds naming and key placement is causing you grief.
The fact is Sounds were never meant to be a 1:1 representation of the samples, but rather new interpretations of them so as to widen the palette even further. The naming remains the same so as to easily identify the associated sample. Maybe in retrospect it would have been better to keep the original key placement, but in many cases, during that creative process, and while trying to use all the Digitakt’s features to create something new, changing the pitch just ‘felt’ right.
Lastly, it’s impossible to overstate just how much time and effort went into creating THE MEGA Pack, it really was a labour of love and no part of it was a small task, I doubt I’ll ever recoup the time invested, but that was never the point, but just to provide a great selection of samples and sounds that people could enjoy and use in their music.
But I’ll keep your suggestion in mind if there’s ever a future update! 😉 ”
All the best, Jessica Saves

I was looking for an all-encompassing sample pack and this really fit the bill, great quality all around and I look forward to trying to get as much as I can out of it!
