When the Push 3 Standalone was delivered (courtesy of a loan from Ableton) I was instantly hooked, I hadn’t used my Push 2 for anything more than triggering accapellas synced to my DJ sets for a while.

The challenge of representing Ableton at the Machina Bristronica trade show meant I had to get my hands dirty and quickly.

As more an more people started asking pre-sales questions regarding compatibility I found I quickly;y had to start cracking open devices to check for their compatibility, I thought it’d be useful to film a quick video to show how to check and how to add control to the dials of the Push screen, in discussions with Peter Kirn of CDM.com it became apparent that there was a bit of a gap in the information out there so a plan was formed to turn the videos into a series.

You can find those videos in the playlist at the top of the page, however the device available here is as the result of hours of playing and experimenting.
