Each of our Instrument Racks contain tips and insights. Open the info tab at the bottom left of the clip viewer and highlight the rack.
There are colour coded tutorials on what each of the macros will achieve when changed. By flicking through the presets you’ll find a host of new sounds and effects textures that instantly change the instrument or effect. You can also try using the randomize button at the top right of the rack. You’ll get some impressive results, or a cool new starting point to dial in and make your own preset snapshot. This will be saved with the rack within your Environment, or within the Rack preset when you save it to your browser.

I bought this to use in conjunction with the great drums in the Downtempo Electronica Environment. Again I’m looking to combine modules from different environments. I’d love it if there were some online tutorials on how to do this. I’ve used live quite a bit but now I’m trying to expand what I can do and getting these bass and drums sounds has been very exciting and I’m really enjoying how to use them and seeing what I can do with them – it’s an interesting journey and these packages can really help jump start your work as you move into new genres. I don’t want to make the same music every time I write a new tune and having these amazing (but a little complex at first) instruments, effects and racks is a real help.
I would say perfect if there was more online tutorial info.
