I recently had the pleasure to implement the DD3 in my creative process and live performances, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed! This pack is a powerhouse of versatility, offering a treasure trove of sounds that can be seamlessly integrated into a wide range of electronic music genres, from the high-energy beats of EDM and IDM to the nostalgic vibes of Synthwave and the ethereal landscapes of Ambient music. As a techno music producer, I've found this pack to be an invaluable addition to my toolkit. One of the standout features of this pack is its array of solid basses, leads, and pads. These sounds are not only rich and textured but also incredibly characteristic, offering a unique sonic identity that can elevate your tracks to new heights. Whether you're in search of earth-shaking basslines that will make your speakers throb or ethereal pads that transport your listeners to otherworldly realms, this pack has you covered. But what truly sets this pack apart is its live performance capabilities. I recently had the opportunity to put the Circuit Tracks at the center of my live set, entrusting it with the task of handling basses and leads throughout the performance. This pack delivered big time, and really sounded massive. - In summary, the DD3 Pack became a game-changer in my workflow. Its versatility, characteristic sounds, and live performance capabilities make it an essential tool for anyone in need for new inspiration. Whether you're just starting out or you're a seasoned pro, this pack will undoubtedly inspire and elevate your creative endeavors. Don't miss out on the chance to experience the magic of this pack.
Delorean Dream Three by Yves Big City
‘A time-traveling Novation Circuit dedicated to the pulsating beats of Italo disco, blended with the genius of Giorgio Moroder’
Italo disco, though globally renowned by the mid-80s, began as a grassroots movement in Italy’s late ’70s club scene. It was a response to the international disco phenomenon, yet distinctly Italian. Characterized by futuristic aesthetics, synthesized beats, and emotionally charged vocals – often delivered with a touch of melancholic passion – the genre became Italy’s answer to the world’s thirst for dance music.
But this isn’t just nostalgia. This is a renaissance. Artists today, from the underground to mainstream pop, are increasingly influenced by the iconic sounds of Italo disco. Its melodies, its rhythm, its passion, it’s all coming back.
“We’ve moved beyond mere homage. This is evolution.”
Months of research went into capturing the very essence of Italo disco. From the grandeur of vintage early beats to the synth-heavy tracks of Koto, we’ve distilled the essence and intertwined it with the genius of Moroder.
“From Italy’s discotecas to Daft Punk’s studios.”
Daft Punk, with their innovative approach to electronic music, drew heavily from Italo disco’s soundscape. They seamlessly blended its synthesized textures with their futuristic French house, making it palatable for a new generation. Songs like “Digital Love” and “Around the World” carry discernible Italo influences, which helped introduce this genre to audiences worldwide.
Rediscover groovy basslines, shimmering pads, rhythmic guitars, and pulsating percussion, echoing both the past and the future of dance music. Feel the connection between decades, genres, and souls as you immerse yourself in this sonic journey.
At a glance:
- Energize your tracks with 128 patches: driving bass, rhythmic chords, pulsating leads, capturing the heart and soul of Italo disco.
- 64 drums, curated and processed with precision on a Studer tape A800 for that deep, dancefloor-ready punch.
- 16 sessions crafted to elevate your music, from retro grooves to futuristic beats. (Special thanks to Claas Falldorf & Davide Di Giovanni)
- Compatible with both the classic circuit edition and the Novation Circuit tracks.
- “Dance like the past influences the present, and the night is forever young!”
Delorean Dream THREE is available as part of the triple pack Delorean Dream Trilogy!
