Description

Kinetic Tech for Circuit Tracks is the latest pack from Isotonik Studios resident sound designer, Jim Drones. Designed with an abundance of Techno styles in mind, its versatility also makes it more than capable of producing various other electronic music genres as well.

To label it just a Techno pack would be unjust, as there’s plenty of bass synths, tech stabs, keyboard leads, pads, strings, and arpeggiators to fulfill your creative inspiration, whichever musical direction it leads you.

Kinetic Tech features 64 professionally-crafted patches to give you total tonal flexibility, as its consistently assigned macros contain the ability to utilize the most of the synth engine’s oscillator shaping possibilities to get a wide variance of sounds from a single patch. Many patches let you turn tech stabs in to ascending pads, and pads into stabs or keyboard leads, using Amp Envelope polarized macro settings. Create grooves, synth lines and melodies that make you move, with ease.

Once loaded into Novation Componoents, the Kinetic Tech for Circuit Tracks pack file contains 64 hard-hitting 808, 909, 707, and other classic percussive drum/synth samples. Not to mention, layered, and textural samples that make use of the longer allotted sample time that Circuit Tracks offers.

Kinetic Tech also comes with 16 modern Techno projects for Circuit Tracks, including a multitude of sub genres like Tech House, Detroit Techno, Minimal, Progressive, Industrial Techno, Electro House, Deep Tech, Tech Funk, and more. Upon loading the pack, 16 projects provide you with multiple scenes for instant performance and playability to awaken the muses.

The Kinetic Tech pack from Jim Drones sounds massive, supporting Novation’s claim that Circuit Tracks has Colossal Sound.

Currently, Kinetic Tech is only compatible with Circuit Tracks.

Any future patch content and/or OG compatibility updates will be made free for all current Kinetic Tech owners.

First pack I’ve bought, had the Tracks up for sale, I’ll be keeping it now because this pack has shown real potential for the Circuit Tracks!

Jim Drones

Jim Drones (aka Robert Cecil) started trajectory into the world of sound design in the mid-to-late 90’s. Having performed live throughout the United States for years with an assortment of drum machines, synths, and stringed instruments, the eventual move towards studio recordings seemed a natural one to be made.Collaborative release projects with world-renowned electronic artists soon followed, leading to his own label-released productions on Bass Frequency Productions & Street Sounds UK having reached the top of electro charts for many consecutive weeks. This led to software instrument endorsements from numerous developers, which sparked the idea to enter the sound design industry professionally.Having worked on numerous award-winning instrument projects in various forms, such as Gladiator 2, Electra 2, Nemesis, Saurus, and more, his focus then became placed onto the hardware side of things. The intuitive nature of Novation Circuit, combined with the ingenious design of the Isotonik editor, was a perfect fit.Jim Drones not only aimed to cover all bases for Circuit users, but also to push sound design into uncharted territory. His packs often feature foward-thinking approaches to traditional instrument utilization, while always keeping musicality in mind. With packs exceeding nearly 3,000 downloads in only the past couple years, it can be said that the transition into the hardware realm of professional sound design has been a successful one.
