Deeply crafted and finely designed, the Lo-Fi Wobble Box is your fix for all your distortion, filtering and modulation needs. All this using Ableton Live native plug-ins, synths, samplers and guitar pedals.

Modular Wave B Instrument

This instrument was sampled from our modular synth rig. We sampled it over 5 octaves on every note. It’s warm and presentsounding, with some slight pitching in the waveform to give it an absorbing feel.

It comes with 10 preset sounds to start your ideas, providing a varied selection of tone styles to get your ideas flowing.

Lo-Fi Wobble Box

Getting the right texture on a sound can be challenging. Using the right blend of effects and gain staging everything to interact with each other can take time, and can also be tricky to right.

We spent a lot of time finding the right combination of effects for this Element. We worked on a Max for Live customised chorus effect and changed the parameter amounts, allowing it to go from warbled, tape-style sounds to chorus, flanger, slap delays and beyond.

We then used Ableton’s Echo effect to add tape noise, wow and flutter, as well as some reverb.

There are 20 preset examples to try out, all of which are equally varied and compelling.
