Delorean Dream by Yves Big City

Welcome to 1985. Neon lights reflect off rain-slicked streets, synthesizers hum with analog warmth, and every sound drips with nostalgia. This is where Delorean Dream lives. The largest Novation Circuit pack ever released through Isotonik Studios, this collection transforms your Circuit into a portable time machine, channeling the sonic DNA of Roland Juno brass stabs, crystalline FM bells, and lush pads that defined an era.

Whether you’re crafting dreamy synthwave soundtracks or pulsing retro-futurist beats, Delorean Dream delivers everything you need to capture the magic of the 80s with a contemporary twist. Now updated to include comprehensive support for both Circuit Original and Circuit Tracks, this pack is your complete sonic passport to the decade that never left.

The Inspiration

The 1980s weren’t just a decade. They were a movement. From the brooding soundscapes of John Carpenter’s horror scores to the glossy pop perfection of Depeche Mode, from the sun-soaked synthwave of Drive to the euphoric energy of late-night MTV, the 80s gave us sounds that still resonate today. Delorean Dream captures this spirit with meticulous attention to detail, blending iconic gear emulations with modern production techniques.

Think fat Roland Juno brass that cuts through any mix. Warm, rounded bass that sits perfectly beneath shimmering arpeggios. Crystalline bells that sparkle like champagne bubbles. Gated reverb snares that punch with authority. These aren’t mere samples. They’re carefully crafted sonic memories, designed to spark inspiration the moment you press a key.

The Sound Design

Every preset in Delorean Dream follows a consistent, intuitive macro template that puts instant control at your fingertips. No more hunting through parameters or second-guessing your tweaks. The macro layout is standardized across all 128 patches, making it effortless to shape sounds on the fly during live performances or studio sessions.

The macro template is designed for maximum creative flexibility:

• Macro 1 (Cutoff): Sculpt brightness and tonal character
• Macro 2 (Release): Control envelope decay for punchy stabs or lingering pads
• Macros 3-6 (Magic Movement): Inject motion, modulation, and evolving textures
• Macro 7 (Portamento): Add smooth glides between notes
• Macro 8 (Chorus): Dial in that classic 80s width and shimmer

This unified approach means you can dive into any patch and immediately know how to customize it, whether you’re thickening a bassline, adding sparkle to a lead, or transforming a static pad into a living, breathing atmosphere.
