Here at Isotonik Studios we’re very excited to share this debut 36db Artist Series Environment by Rodriguez Jr. It comes in two stunning formats. The first is the ‘Feathers & Bones’ Environment.
36db took the title track from Rodriguez Jr’s latest album and meticulously recreated it using only Ableton Live devices. This release is filled to the brim with sounds, instruments sampled over 5 octaves, MIDI, drum samples and effects for you to immerse yourself in. They’ve even modelled some of the hardware processing Rodriguez Jr. uses to get his tracks sounding so full, multi layered and textured.
The second Environment is Entropy and written especially by Rodriguez Jr. for this release. A club banger, it’s unreleased, exclusive and only features in the Deluxe Edition. The Entropy Environment gives you access to even more Drum Racks, Instruments Racks, Effects Racks, sounds and presets. PUSH 3 STANDALONE – TOTAL CONTROL
Each of Rodriguez Jr’s Environments and all Instrument & Effects Racks are now fully Push 3 compatible. You can simply drag any of these 36db Rodriguez Jr. devices to your Push 3 and all macros and performance controls will work seamlessly. This includes any Max for Live devices.
The main objective when designing these Environments was to enhance the hands-on experience. Every instrument and effects rack has been carefully mapped and programmed for the ultimate user experience. Functionality and control are key in achieving efficient and creative results.
Instrument & Effects rack snapshots are currently unavailable for selection on the Push 3 Standalone.
RODRIGUEZ Jr. INSTRUMENTS
This selection of instruments from Rodriguez Jr. is a beautiful collection of sounds that have been sampled from Olivier’s personal studio. Each of the Sampler Instruments were sampled over 5 octaves. The behavior and performance response of these sounds were recreated in Ableton Live to give you the best playability.
Each Instrument Rack comes with 16 macros of control. This allows you to dial in the sounds you want and gives you 10 presets for each Instrument rack to get you started.
RODRIGUEZ Jr. DRUM RACKS
Each of Rodriguez Jr’s Drum Racks™ contain custom samples from his personal studio. 808, 909 and other exotic drum machines were used to create these superb house kits for you to use in your own productions. Each sound was processed using Rodriguez Jr’s extensive collection of vintage hardware processors and effects.
A custom Rodriguez Jr. Drums Bus Channel strip is also included with each Drum Rack™. This will add energy and presence to your drums giving you variations for where you want your drums to sit in the mix.
RODRIGUEZ Jr. EFFECTS RACKS
We have recreated a selection of Rodriguez Jr’s go-to effects which he uses in his own productions.
There are a wide variety of Effects Racks with lots of controls for you to sculpt the precise effect you’re looking for. These include reverbs, delays, modulation effect and many other incredible tools for your productions. These Effects Racks also come with 10 presets to get you started.
There are also 6 return channel Effects Racks designed by Rodriguez Jr. These cover a wide variety of effects including some mad glitchy textures to add dimension to your sounds.
Like all of the 36db Instruments and Effects Racks, they come as individual racks for you to mix and match to your own productions. You can get endless results by combining these devices and demonstrate the true modular aspect of Ableton Live™.
RODRIGUEZ Jr. CHORD MAKER
Rodriguez Jr’s music is renowned for his chords and melodies. We created the Rodriguez Jr. Chord Maker to bring you a collection of some of his favourite chords.
By playing just one note the Chord Maker will generate a selection of beautiful chord variations. There are 15 presets to explore, each containing 12 chords within that preset, which give you a total of 180 chords. This allows you to create amazing chord movements.
TIPS AND TRICKS
By flicking through the presets you’ll find a host of new sounds and effects textures that instantly change the instrument or effect. You can also try using the randomize button at the top right of the rack. You’ll get some impressive results, or a cool new starting point to dial in and make your own preset snapshot. This will be saved with the rack within your Environment, or within the Rack preset when you save it to your browser.

Our design makes it easy for you to mix and match all the sounds and effects racks that make up our Environments. This enables you to add them to your own productions or use parts from one Environment in another Environment.

After purchase you will receive a download link for the pack files. Simply follow the included installation instructions, drag the contents into your Ableton User Library, and the devices will be available directly within Live’s browser.
Yes, everything included is fully licence-cleared for use in your own commercial productions. You cannot resell or redistribute the raw content itself, but any music you create with it is entirely yours.

Our Products are generally provided as Zip file downloads which in all cases will need to be extracted and saved to your hard drive prior to installation. Details on the different file type provided and what to do with them are below.
.alp Files – These are Ableton Live Packs and will either install directly into the Packs Section of the browser of Ableton Live or ask you to save them to your hard drive. For packs that install to the library, when you double click on them you will see a pop up window asking you to confirm that installation is ok as the files are described as “Legacy”. This is fine and you are ok to proceed, the packs are created using the format for an earlier version of Live and so remain compatible with the current version.
Royalty-Free Preset, Patch & Sample Pack License Agreement
This License Agreement ("Agreement") is made between Isotonik Studios Ltd, a private limited company incorporated in England & Wales (Company No. 10701748), with its registered office at 186 West Street, Dunstable, United Kingdom, LU6 1NX ("Licensor"), and the individual or entity ("Licensee") who purchases, downloads, or otherwise acquires the preset, patch or sample pack (the "Product").
By downloading, installing, or using the Product, the Licensee agrees to the terms set out below. If the Licensee does not agree to these terms, they must not use the Product.
1. Grant of License
The Licensor grants the Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the presets, patches, samples, loops, and related content contained in the Product (the "Content") in original musical compositions, performances, and productions for both commercial and non-commercial purposes.
2. Permitted Uses
The Licensee may:
- Use the Content in combination with other sounds in music productions, including albums, singles, film scores, TV shows, radio broadcasts, podcasts, video games, live performances, and advertising.
- Modify, process, and combine the Content with other sounds to create derivative works.
- Distribute such derivative works in physical or digital formats without owing further royalties to the Licensor.
3. Restrictions
The Licensee may not:
- Resell, redistribute, sublicense, rent, lease, lend, share, or make the raw Content (in whole or in part) available as-is or in isolation, whether for free or for payment, in any way that competes with the original Product.
- Use the Content in a way that allows others to extract or use the sounds as standalone files (e.g., in sample libraries, preset or patch banks, sound packs, or virtual instruments).
- Claim ownership of the Content in its unmodified form.
4. Ownership
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Content remain the exclusive property of the Licensor. This Agreement grants a license to use the Content but does not transfer ownership.
5. Termination
This License is effective until terminated. It will terminate automatically if the Licensee breaches any term of this Agreement. Upon termination, the Licensee must cease all use of the Content in new works, but may continue to use works already created in compliance with this Agreement.
6. No Warranty
The Content is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. The Licensor is not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Content.
7. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
