Made in Detroit is an absolute gem for anyone into classic Detroit house. The samples are top-notch — punchy drums, rich chords, and the Chops folder is full of gold. Everything is well-organized, and the included PDF makes it easy to find exactly what you need. Works perfectly on my Digitakt 2 and also dropped seamlessly into my DAW workflow. This pack nails the vibe of that golden era — highly recommended!

Made in Detroit is a sample pack built for producers who love the raw, sample-based sound of classic Detroit house — think Moodymann, Theo Parrish, Rick Wilhite, Andres, Kyle Hall, and the deep, soulful grooves that shaped the city’s underground scene.
From dusty drum hits and warm pads to chopped grooves and melodic fragments, this pack captures the spirit of that sound: loose, soulful, and full of vibe.
While designed with the Digitakt MK2 in mind, all 264 samples are delivered as mono and stereo WAV files at 48kHz / 16-bit, making them fully compatible with any DAW or sampler — including Ableton, Logic, FL Studio, Maschine, and more.
At the heart of the pack is the Chops folder, divided into Grooves, Melodics, Percussion, and Vocals — featuring loops and fragments sampled from the original records used in hundreds of legendary house tracks. You’ll recognize the building blocks of tracks like “I Can’t Kick This Feeling”, “Burnin’”, “Rose Rouge”, and more — all meticulously chopped, edited, and ready to flip.
Also included is a PDF reference sheet listing the source material behind every sample in the Chops folder — giving you deeper insight into the pack’s roots and helping you stay organized as you work.
