This device brings the session view display of the Push 2 feature of Live 12 to users of Live 10 & 11!
When you want to know what you're triggering without looking at the Laptop screen P2D-Session displays your current Live session state on the Push2 display.
P2D-Session is a Max for Live device that utilises the hi-res RGB display on Push 2 to provide you with an overview of where you are in the Live set.
An 8x8 matrix on the display will correspond to the clip launch buttons on the Push allowing you to see the name and playing status of each clip that you currently control. This matrix will update as you move around the set or perform additions/removals from your set.

P2D-SESSION FEATURES:
Installation is as simple as dropping P2D Session into your Ableton Live set, switching into Session View for the screen is achieved by pressing SHIFT & SELECT on the Push 2 controller.
With the P2D component installed, P2D-Session adds additional functionality to P2D-Session.
Our Products are generally provided as Zip file downloads which in all cases will need to be extracted and saved to your hard drive prior to installation. Details on the different file type provided and what to do with them are below.
.alp Files – These are Ableton Live Packs and will install directly into the Packs Section of the browser of Ableton Live. When you double click on them you will see a pop up window asking you to confirm that installation is ok as the files are described as “Legacy”. This is fine and you are ok to proceed, the packs are created using the format for an earlier version of Live and so remain compatible with the current version.
.amxd files – These are individual MaxforLive Devices and can be stored anywhere on your hard drive. We’d advise creating a folder for them and then adding that folder as a location within the Places section of Lives Browser.
— Added option to always display scene names on column 8
— Fixed an issue with Push2 not always being recognised correctly when a set is reloaded.
— Fixed issue with P2D+ for later versions of Live.
— Fixed a couple of rendering glitches.
