    This is a must for Ableton users! Best tape effect I’ve used. Superb sound.

    Excellent devices! Simple but feature packed with very well designed UI’s.
    My only gripe is that some of the parameters are not automatable (eg: “wear” within the Tape device).

    Great set of devices, the tape effect especially. Along with the compressor it has really helped me replace slate plugins when moving to an Ableton push 3 standalone workflow.

    Very well thought out, top notch design and attention to detail, plus the sound is amazing! These are well and truly top tier quality Max For Live devices. Well worth the purchase.

    Great sounding plugins, I own some of these plugins by other compagnies but I use those one for the simplicity of use in Ableton during recording sessions, my workflow improved a lot !

    These devices looks, feels and sounds great! But what bothered me is that I am still waiting for the bug fixes for more than 6 months already, and some of them are quite critical (for example, the fact that Curves EQ doesn’t save the low cut freq values it’s huge). I was promised that the bug fixes and new features will be provided in July 2024, now it’s almost December, and the new plugins by monomono are out but how about these ones?

OPTOCOMP

Optocomp is a vintage-inspired compressor, infused with the warm character of classic gear like the LA-2A. Uniquely designed for Max for Live, it merges analog nuances with digital precision.

Employing a feedback design, Optocomp “listens” and adjusts for smooth, musical compression. Its program-dependent nature automatically fine-tunes attack and release based on the input, ensuring optimal results on everything from individual instruments to full mixes.

  • Easy to set up: Just push the input to get more compression and makeup with the Output gain. Everything else is taken care of.
