Product reviews
Solid emulation with extras !
Solid SH101 ! Amazing version with some nice hidden features!
Extra features and hyper realistic representation of the SH classic.
I have original SH 101 but I have to say that MonoOne is perfect solution to play in DAW. The sound, which is for me most important, is almost like original. Bravo!!!
sound emulation
GUI should be more simple like Roland has it.
Bread & Butter Essential!
If you're an Ableton Live user & in regular need of bread & butter synth sounds from a SH-101 type synth, this is absolutely incredible. I can barely tell any difference between this & real 101s I've played with, but of course you have the convenience of taking it anywhere your computer goes without worrying about its vintage fragility & upkeep!
Sound realness/analog goodness
Nothing!!!
I used to own a SH101 it was my staple for making music and I must admit that the Mono one is as close to the real thing, I’ve missed pushing the Rez and the ADSR to make the bubbly sounds, plus if you put it though delay and reverb you can get a real monster out of it.
10 out of 10 for quality, performance and price.
It’s definitely going on as a default for my Ableton projects.
Everything about it
None to think of
Great device and great developer
Mono One is a neat little device that does what it says wonderfully. Ease of use is the main point here. The sounds are extremely great and, to my old ears, I can get exactly the sound I have in my head very quickly. For those of us that actually make music and produce, this is very important. Are there other emulations that do a similar job? Yes, but this has to be one of the top ones. Plus, it integrates seamlessly into Ableton, so no more floating windows or any of that nonsense.
Top quality and great job, Monomono. I have compared it to a few others emulations that I own and like and this is the one I prefer the most. I must be honest, I don't think I'm ever going to use the other ones. I'm quite happy with my purchase!
If I have one nitpick, it'd be the lack of a small box that shows the parameter value. A little box near the logo that shows the value of whatever we're tweaking would be a great addition in my opinion.
Alpha Juno II next? So I can retire many other plugins? Eheh
- Easy to use; you can get your sounds quite fast if you know what you're doing.
- Sound is very close to what you'd expect
- Great interface
No real disadvantage to this plugin. Price is acceptable and it's more than worth it for sure.
