Ned Rush‘s Audio Collection comprises all of the devices of both the Glitch & FX Packs, and comes in at a discount on purchasing both separately!

The Audio Collection begins with Knobulator is a MaxForLive device for mashing up audio in realtime. Turn the knob and the effect comes on, stop turning it and it turns off. Fantastic for live performance as well as audio productions.

It’s parameters automatically map with the Blue Hand control of supported Live MIDI controllers like the AKAI APC40. Turn your beats into wabbly crunchy glitches, run some synths through it for instant wobble.

The Knobulator is a performance based multi effects device for performing beat based, quantized effects with minimal fuss and complete ease of use. What makes it unique from any device like it is the way effects are triggered. You simply turn the knob, from any position, and the effect is active, keep turning to adjust the effect, then stop turning to disable. Simple. You can set the qunatize for not only the timing the effect is launched, but also the sweep of the knob thats modulating it.

You can change the effect in realtime whilst turning the knob too, to create exciting glitch effects that will explode. Beat repeats, stutters, reverse, tunrtable effects, filters, bit reduction, delays, grains, they’re all there, ready go to without mappinh anything. Great for djs looking for intersting things to throw into their mixes, or mashup dudes looking for something quick and easy with still loads of control. A popular choice!

The original member of the Glitch Pack & Audio Collection, Instant Jungle Breakcore & it’s not cheating! Do you need glitched up madness?

MashUp is a generative loop editor that gives you instant jungle, glitch, beat effects using probability. Drop a loop or sound into the device, set some sliders, press go, and enjoy an endless source of new material you can resample and use in your productions to create wild edits of your material.

Different sliders set the chance that different playbacks will happen, such as forwards, backwards, start, stop, and wacky buzz effects. Use sliders in the wave editor to select which part of the loop gets played more than others, so focus on the kick and snare to create abstract breakcore madness. Its fun, and useful, and cheap. Why aren’t you buying it?

Looking for the sound of scratching and tunrtablism in your music but dont have turntables, or cant scratch, or dont have any records?

Fair enough, those things are costly and take time. Scrubber lets you move around audio the way you would a record, using a midi controller. Scrubber emulates the approach of turntablism (scratching) to give you a sensation of doing it live, and, you can do it live and it’ll look and sound cool. A great performance device for hip hop.

Scrubber comes in two varieties, Scrubber MIDI is for dropping samples into and Scrubber Stream is for scratching up live audio in real time. Stream audio through it or record a one shot sound and scratch it up like a dj on a turntable

Fully annotated and fully automated, this device becomes a weapon when mapped to a fader and a couple of encoders!

A step sequencing Glitch Pack machine and an essential element of the Audio Collection. Step Glitch = Stitch. Effects can be sequenced in time to create great beat edits, or can you randomise the sequence on each new pass (RONP) to get new events on each cycle. What also makes it special is the added step sequencer that controls the rate of the effects sequencer.

Sequence the first step to last for 1 beat, the second step for ¼ beats, to create unusual avant-grooves. All your great glitch effects are their for people looking for added surprise in their productions.

Choose the effect and then configure it with its own parameter selector. Finally dial in the rate at which the effect will be applied, you can have fine control over everything or through caution to the wind and use the Random functionality so that no two passes of audio sound the same, great for resampling!

Autotune is autotune on the cheap! If you really want the now timeless gimmick of robot tuning over your RnB hit, or if you simply want to experiment with tuning textures into drones to resample into epic pads and homemade synth tones, and can’t afford the real deal, then Autotune by Ned Rush could be for you.

You can tune to scales, or single notes, and the results are stunning. Tip! Stack them up in effects rack on seperate chains to create rich soundscapes

Relive the 60s or go swimming in this glitchy acid wave of pitch shifting delays and smudgey reverbs as your sound flies away into a big sea of grainy clouds and psychedelic swoosh.

This is a sampling echo that gives you extra control over how you want to achieve tones in your sound design. As its sampling the audio, you have more control over the playback then you would with a regular delay, such as pitch shifting, reverse, and outrageous sounds that come from this when you start to play with the feedback.

Add ethereal clouds of euphoria to a simple piano riffs, swim in a psychedelic pool of wash and wobble that’ll leave you disoriented in a good way. Grab a chunk of the audio to turn the echo into a sample you can twist and pitch into oblivion.

Control the sampling delay for pitch shift, reverse the echos for general mayhem or euphoric cloud rushes…

It’s Dirty, it’s an Echo, there’s not much to say on this one, it’s best to hear it in action!

Inspired by the sonic experiments of dub reggae, the endless evolving clouds of dirt and howl that come from feeding echoes back into themselves, that classic sound of the Roland Space echo, Dirty Echo seeks to add an extra tone and degree of function and experimentalism to echo sound design in Ableton Live in one unit.

You can use the filters to shape the tone of the echoes, add compression to keep control of levels withouth ahving to add more devices, you can achieve dub style effects without using aux tracks by using the send buttons, and you can add extra space using the the built in verb, overdrive, and modulation to the echoes to great sutble wow and flutter or extreme wibbles. Dirty Echo is a homage to the lofi soundscape.

Wobble is still cool right? Sure it is, but this does more. Its membership of the Audio Collection is assured as it’s not only a step sequencing multi filter which sequences not only the filter type, but also the modulation curve, its also a sampler.

You can sample the incoming audio of a simple kick and snare beat to create whole new bass line tones that you can send into a bonkers machine of wobble and growl to create the most insane complextro events, that would be time consuming in Ableton using standard instruments, effects and sequencing, or expensive using other plugins like Massive or Cyclops.

The Wobblatron is a great affordable solution for progressive bass enthusiasts looking to take their bassline way into the future.

Wobble, tweak, modulate, filter, scream, wibble, wub wub streaming audio into new exciting things. Run any audio through it and turn it into sub-atomic bass!!!

We close out the Audio Collection with Growl, a autotuning, pitch tracking comb filter and sound generator with quantized note scaling.

Plug your mic in and sing into it and strange and amazing musical sounds will come out. A great sound design tool and great music generator when your stuck for ideas.

Use it in your live shows to make melodic loops by singing into it or miking up the ambient room and seeing what it does.

Q. What are the Minimum System Requirements?

A. Ableton Live 9.7 & MaxforLive 7

Q. What’s the Installation Process?

A. If the files provided end in .amxd then these should be downloaded and saved to a folder on your harddrive, the files can then either be dragged into your Live set with the mouse or you can add a file path to the folder they’re contained within in the Live Browser.

If the files provided end in .alp then these are Ableton Live Packs, double clicking them open will usually provide a warning regarding the files “Legacy” status, this is nothing to worry about, it’s just the only way we can make a pack that will install itself into your Live browser alongside the factory content.

Our Products are generally provided as Zip file downloads which in all cases will need to be extracted and saved to your hard drive prior to installation. Details on the different file type provided and what to do with them are below.

.alp Files – These are Ableton Live Packs and will install directly into the Packs Section of the browser of Ableton Live. When you double click on them you will see a pop up window asking you to confirm that installation is ok as the files are described as “Legacy”. This is fine and you are ok to proceed, the packs are created using the format for an earlier version of Live and so remain compatible with the current version.

.amxd files – These are individual MaxforLive Devices and can be stored anywhere on your hard drive. We’d advise creating a folder for them and then adding that folder as a location within the Places section of Lives Browser.

Control Surface Scripts – Please refer to the individual User Guides provided with your download, an abridged version of the installation will be shown further down this page.

ClyphX Pro – Please refer directly to the manual and installation video for this specific product.

Novation Circuit Packs – These are provided as individual Sysex Files and as a complete bank file. All are to be installed using a version of the Circuit Editor and not via Novations Components back up utility.
