Product reviews
Feels like a complete toolkit
Picked up the Allstars Ableton Two bundle and it has been less about adding plugins and more about shifting how I relate to making music. The tools do not just throw out tricks, they invite evolving patterns, happy accidents, and that quiet moment where the line between me and the track softens and I am simply listening, nudging, and responding. The vintage style compressors and EQs glue everything together in a warm and alive way, so each session feels less about control and more about letting the music reveal itself.
Great for evolving sequences, polyrhythms, and subtle motion.
Feels like a complete toolkit rather than a random bundle.
There is a bit of a learning curve if you are new to Max for Live.
So many devices that it can feel overwhelming at first.

What’s Included
Heap MIDI Tools One by Heaps of Bleeps
Six MIDI transformation tools that unlock polyrhythmic, polytempic, non-dyadic, and generative rhythms from your existing patterns. The “Weird” series (Weird Quantizer, Weird Duration, Weird Swing, Weird Shifter) helps you break free from traditional grids, while Fractional Stretch and Chance Generator add fresh inspiration to complex rhythms. Perfect for musicians seeking experimental timing and unconventional groove structures.
Three essential MaxforLive devices that bring vintage studio magic into Ableton Live. Curves EQ captures the spirit of iconic Pultec design with modern production tools. Tape delivers authentic tape deck warmth, saturation, and nostalgic character with multiple deck models and adjustable hiss. Optocomp provides smooth, musical compression inspired by the legendary LA-2A, with program-dependent attack and release that automatically adjusts to your input. All three devices feature beautiful interfaces that adapt to your Live color theme and work flawlessly on Push 3 Standalone.
Four paired Max for Live control devices designed for precise automation and organic expression. Functions offers dynamic LFO and envelope modulation with editable waveforms. MiniSteps provides three integrated sequencers for controlling parameters. Both devices come in MIDI and audio versions, letting you easily map parameters inside Live or send MIDI messages to external instruments. Create evolving patterns, add human-like variation, and control multiple parameters simultaneously with Push integration for hands-on performance.
INFRA|Light Theme by Deafman.SKWS
Thirteen ultra-dark, meticulously crafted visual themes engineered to reduce eye strain during late-night sessions and low-light production environments. INFRA|Light delivers professional darkness without sacrificing contrast or usability, letting you work comfortably for extended periods. Each theme maintains visual hierarchy and readability while protecting your eyes from harsh brightness. Perfect for producers who create into the early hours or perform in dark club environments.
A real-time sample processor that transforms audio into glitchy, juggled, and fractured textures ready for resampling or live performance. Nedit features three sequencer concepts based on probability, looping, and statistics, with full MIDI controller support for all main functions. Drop in a sample and watch it slice, mangle, and evolve in unexpected ways. Create controlled chaos or let it run wild—perfect for experimental sound design, live performance glitching, and adding organic randomness to static loops.
Chance Pack Four by LDM Design
Ten MaxforLive devices dedicated to MIDI randomization and modulation. With full MPE compatibility, velocity and pitch splitting, advanced note filtering, and cluster triggering, this pack expands your creative possibilities exponentially. Optimized for Push and MIDI controller mapping, these tools introduce Brian Eno-inspired chaos and probability into your workflow. Create evolving patterns that never repeat the same way twice, humanize mechanical sequences, or generate entirely new melodic ideas from simple input.

Our Products are generally provided as Zip file downloads which in all cases will need to be extracted and saved to your hard drive prior to installation. Details on the different file type provided and what to do with them are below.
.alp Files – These are Ableton Live Packs and will either install directly into the Packs Section of the browser of Ableton Live or ask you to save them to your hard drive. For packs that install to the library, when you double click on them you will see a pop up window asking you to confirm that installation is ok as the files are described as “Legacy”. This is fine and you are ok to proceed, the packs are created using the format for an earlier version of Live and so remain compatible with the current version.
.amxd files – These are individual MaxforLive Devices and can be stored anywhere on your hard drive. We’d advise creating a folder for them and then adding that folder as a location within the Places section of Lives Browser.
