MODULAR SERIES – ISOTONIK FX
The final MaxforLive device of the Modular Series XL pack is an Audio FX device, Isotonik FX was born out of frustration with Beat Repeat. It works on buffered audio and slices the incoming audio into 1/8ths which can then be retrogressed via MIDI whilst the original audio continues playing, much like the Slip mode on CDJ’s. You can set how long the repeat cycle is for the slices to bring some glitchy stuttering that always remains on beat and on time.
We’ve added in some other effects created for my own personal performance template like DJ Brake and Turntable Wind Down along with High and Low Pass filters. All in all this is a one device arsenal of DJ style Effects!
